Designed to foster curiosity and learning for students in grades K–5, Wildlight Elementary School features state-of-the-art technology and pilot programs. Though the school is open to all Nassau County public school K–5 students, first choice will be given to residents of Wildlight.

The Nassau School District graduation rate is 92.8% compared to the state average of 86.1%. That rate has increased every year since 2013 with the goal of reaching 100%.


Nassau County School District has received an overall “A” Rating from the Florida State Board of Education for 4 of the last 5 years. In 2017-2018, 9 of 13 schools received an “A”, with no schools rated lower than “B”.


For ten straight years, Nassau County Schools have been designated an Academically High-Performing District by the Florida State Board of Education. We’re one of only TWO districts to achieve this!

Lifetime Learning

Just one mile down the road from Wildlight, Florida State College’s Nassau Center is fully equipped with computer- and technology-enhanced classrooms and labs. Students can complete degrees such as an A.S. in Cardiovascular Technology or an Associate in Arts. The Center for Lifelong Learning offers continuing education in a diverse range of subjects. The Outdoor Education Center is available for team-building programs.
