Committed to extraordinary for over 100 years

We have a single purpose: to create and sustain extraordinary places that shine brightly for generations to come.

Raydient Places + Properties is the owner of large stretches of land in the southern and northwestern United States. And in locations such as northeast Florida, where economic growth is generating a need for new homes and workplaces, our mission is not only to meet this need, but to apply a level of thoughtfulness and design that uplifts the lives of residents, strengthens the local economy, improves civic infrastructure and protects the natural environment. Our development of Wildlight is proof of this commitment — bringing to life a long-term vision for a new kind of town that embraces the spirit, history and spectacular nature of the Florida Lowcountry.

Why “Wildlight”?

Wildlight takes its name from the untamed spirit and beauty of Florida’s lowcountry — a place where wild landscapes meet luminous light. It’s our way of honoring the curiosity and courage of the explorers, pioneers and innovators whose big dreams laid the foundation for Florida’s first coast, and the diverse natural surroundings that continue to inspire life here today — and beyond.

Modern office interior in the heart of the Wildlight master planned community, featuring a wooden staircase, lounge chairs, and a woman using a laptop. Glass-walled meeting room visible in the background highlights homes in Nassau County Florida.

Higher vision, greater resources

To create an extraordinary place, you have to put in an extraordinary effort. It requires a bold plan matched by an equally bold commitment. A deep investment of talent, time and capital. There aren’t many organizations capable, or perhaps willing, to operate in this way. We’re proud to be one of them.

Real community

To us, there’s a difference between building a community and building community. We look for opportunities to partner with other organizations that can help us create places that are more vibrant, enriching and alive. In Wildlight, for example, we’ve joined with UF Health and the YMCA to weave health and wellness right into the fabric of the community. It’s all about finding the larger themes and natural synergies that bind us all together.

Deep-rooted sustainability

When you’re part of a century-old tree-growing company, caring for the planet is simply part of your DNA. At Raydient, we believe that conservation and community go together naturally, each one enhancing the other. And in Wildlight, our concern for the fragility of nature and the preservation of natural places is expressed in a growing number of community features and initiatives.
