Explore Wildlight
When we say Wildight is a town in nature, we aren’t kidding. After all, it’s the best way to describe a place where you can go on a bike ride past preserved open space and end up at a local restaurant for brunch. Hit the trail for an invigorating hike, then follow it up with ice cream. Find locally sourced goods at the Wildlight Marketplace, or get in a workout at the Y. It’s the perfect mix of places to eat, things to do and ways to unwind. And everyone’s welcome.
It’s the ultimate place to play at Wildlight. From basketball to sand volleyball and even pickleball, we’ve got your favorite sports covered.

Nature is at the heart of who we are. Which is why, no matter where you are in Wildlight, it’s hard to go very far without hitting some sort of way to enjoy the outdoors. We have paths for bikes. Miles of trails for hikes. Parks with hammocks and ponds, outdoor fitness areas and shade structures. And don’t get us started on all the open space and preserved land — there’s plenty of that, too.
It’s going to be our do-everything entertainment destination, right in the Town District. (And because this is Wildlight, there will be no shortage of nature there to enjoy.) We’re still working out all the delightful details, but we have big things planned — and we’ll keep you posted on our progress.
Wildlight isn’t just about town and nature. It’s also about education. Being located in the A-rated Nassau County School District (which also happens to be the #1 school district in Florida) means our kids learn at some of the best schools in the area — including Wildlight Elementary, which is just a walk down the street (or trail) from many of the homes in the Town District. And stay tuned for more schools: there are some planned in the Garden District.
At Wildlight, we make health and wellness a priority. You’ll see it in the UF Health medical center and YMCA integrated right into our community. Events like our annual Run Wild 5K & 10K. And the Wildlight Trailways that encourage you to pedal through the neighborhoods and open space, or get your steps in (whether those steps are at a strolling or sprinting pace).
The way we see it, you can’t be a new home community without focusing on the “community” part. That’s why we have a full calendar of gatherings, get-togethers and good vibes planned by our dedicated (and very fun) Lifestyle Director, Liz. Like movie nights at the pool, concerts, farmers markets and more. Of course, we also tend to get “spontaneously social,” with porch conversations turning into impromptu happy hours. In other words, fun is always on the agenda here.
