Where it all began
The vision for Wildlight was always that of a town … one with the right mix of homes and parks and retail that would be full of places to live and play and gather. (You’ve no doubt heard of “walk scores” — ours is well up there.) But then we thought: what if our version of town took full advantage of all the inspiring nature that was here long before us? And so our “Town in Nature” began to take shape — one coffee shop, fitness center, elementary school and creative park at a time.

Walkability and bikeability are wonderful, sure. But sometimes, four wheels are in order. Whether you’re going into Jacksonville for work, or heading to a concert or ballgame or flight, every minute matters (for rush hour sanity, if nothing else). The Town District sits a little nearer to Jacksonville — about seven minutes shaved off your trip. Of course, if you want to go to the beach, you’re still ideally positioned for sun-drenched daytrips in the other direction.

Now, onto the nature
We can’t call ourselves a Town in Nature without addressing the ‘nature’ part. And in the Town District, that means there’s plenty to do in the (very) great outdoors. Like ponds, pools, parks for residents and non-residents (and even dogs) … and over 12 miles of Wildlight Trailways that will get you from one to another with outdoorsy ease.
